Accessible transport

On the move without restrictions

Accessibility while on the move

Whether travelling with wheelchair, walking aid or child buggy you’ll be well looked after in all VAG vehicles. Thanks to modern low-floor technology and mechanical and mobile folding ramps you can get in and out of the vehicle without difficulty.

Well informed

In order to make it as easy as possible for you to get in and out we have compiled the most important information about our vehicles and stops. Of course this also applies to people with other restrictions such as sight-impairment.

To cross safely

At different stops there are special tactile guidance strips and attention fields made from studded panels installed in the ground so that people with sight impairments can cross the tram tracks more easily. They can feel where pedestrian areas end and the tracks can be crossed at the safest point.

Made easy

At some stops the platform has been raised so that getting in and out is possible without the ramp. These stops are marked on the route network plan and on each of the pages dedicated to the different stops.
